Founded in 2018 by company director, Samuel Wolstencroft, SCJ Power has personnel in the company with over 20 years of experience in the electrical power distribution industry. The key to our rapid growth and ongoing success is the company’s commitment to developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, customers, and industry suppliers over the years.

SCJ Power is a leading Level 1 & Level 2 Accredited Service Provider (ASP) company, through the NSW Government ASP Scheme. Headquartered in Smeaton Grange, located next to the M5 South-West Corridor, we are less than 1 hour southwest of Sydney and provide contestable services throughout New South Wales (NSW).

We specialise in overhead powerline construction and maintenance and are dedicated to delivering high-quality services for contestable work on NSW electricity distribution networks.

SCJ Power completes projects in both Endeavour Energy and Ausgrid network areas. We hold company authorisation to work on both networks, with experienced staff and subcontractors authorised to provide contestable services on or near the distribution system.

We have completed key distribution projects on behalf of major energy companies and tier one companies. Working with our clients to take on challenging projects to deliver exceptional results.
We are proud members of the National Electrical Contractor Association (NECA) and committed to ensuring customer satisfaction and the health, safety and welfare of the environment and all persons associated with our work including clients, workers, contractors and the public.

We pride ourselves in providing a safe working environment and all necessary information, training, instruction and supervision to ensure our objectives are achieved.

Our accreditation with the NSW Government ASP Scheme is for the following:

Level 1 ASP Accreditation No. 5184

Class 1A bot 1AM – Overhead – work on or near the overhead electricity network
Class 1B – Underground Paper lead and Polymeric – work on or near the underground electricity network, including polymeric and paper lead cables
Class 1C – Underground Polymeric only
Class 1X – Non-electrically qualified.

Level 2 ASP Accreditation No. 5585

Class 2A – Disconnect and reconnect
Class 2B – Work on underground service conductors
Class 2C – Work on overhead service conductors
Class 2D – Energising Network Operator service equipment including service protection devices/fuses
Class 2X – Non-electrically qualified
